Radio Announcer (The Curse of the Nile)
Officer #2 "Jones" (
The Whispering Sphinx)
Randall (Album 10)
Q: Why do you enjoy being part of the Jonathan Park project?

A: I love working for Jonathan Park for many reasons, but I think the Christian
Fellowship in the studio is my favorite. I don’t know of many other places where it is
possible to interact with so many Christian writers, directors, and voiceover actors, all so
dedicated to Christ and the Creation Message.

Q: Why is the creation message important?

A: Genesis is the foundation of all scripture. Without the original sin of Genesis 3, we
have no need for a Savior. Thus, without Genesis, our faith is in vain.

Q: What is it like to play your character?

A: Well, I have portrayed three characters on the program now, but my most favorite
was “Jones”, the British naval officer in the intro to “Jonathan Park and the Whispering
Sphinx (part 1)”. Action scenes are always a challenge—and this was my first! It’s not
every day you get fired upon by a Harrier Jump Jet! High intensity and a lot of fun in the

Q: Is there a time when you got to use the creation message to share the
gospel with someone?

A: Not yet. But I’m always on the lookout for an opportunity.

Q: What is your favorite scripture, and why?

A: My most favorite verse comes from Romans 6:1-2 in 1599 Geneva Bible:

“What shall we say then? Shall we continue still in sin, that grace may abound? God
forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live yet therein?”

This amazing passage reminds us, Christianity is not a spectator sport. We cannot
cruise through Sunday Service, pretending holiness. Christ calls us to strive for
righteousness in every area of our lives—not an easy calling. But the pursuit of holiness
is a battle worth fighting for.

Q: What has the Lord been teaching you during this project?

A: God has taught me many life lessons over the last three years.  However, if I could
take away but one, it would be to TRUST THE BIBLE! God’s inerrant word is the
roadmap for all of life. Without it, I don’t know where I’d be.

Q: Tell us about your family.

A: I’m the second born in a God-fearing family of nine, and have been blessed far
above what I deserve.

My twin brother, Josh, is my best friend, though we don’t always act like it. (And no, we
look nothing alike.)

My five sisters each have their own colorful personality, and it’s great being around
them. (Even if we get out voted on the T.V. sometimes)

I have wonderful parents and grandparents who homeschool me (my parents), and do
their best to train me up in the ways of the Lord.

Q: How did you come to know the Lord?

A: My parents led me to the Lord at a very young age. But, on September 8, 2012 I
rededicate my life to the Christ, and have strived to live for Him ever since.

Q: What is your favorite creation evidence?

A: The Cambrian Explosion, discussed in The Explorers Society. Amazing how this
geological site points so clearly to a world-wide flood!

Q: Do you like working with the other actors on the team?

A: Yes! It’s so much fun to play off each other in the studio! My favorite actors to work
with have been Isaac Taylor (Jonathan Park), and the multi-voice talents of Duane
Riffenburgh (Daniel Priest, Abasi, and over 30 others) and Andrew Riffenburgh (who has
portrayed almost as many characters as his father).
