Timmy Sherman
Wesley (
Eye of the Storm)
Wesley played the original Timmy on Album # 1
&
Album #2. His real life brother, Trevor, played
his brother Thad.
Why do you enjoy being part of the Jonathan Park project?
It's great to be doing something that is making a difference in the way people think about the origins of
this world and intelligent design vs evolution.

Why is the creation message important?
It is one of the very foundations of our faith.  God made us.  That is huge.  People need to know that
they weren't a mistake and that there is a creator out there that loves them.  It is also important that the
scientific evidence for creation is shown.  We live in a world where evolution is forced on everyone as
"sound science" and creation is portrayed as a wacko theory by a bunch of religious nuts.  This is not
the case and people need to know that.

What is it like to play your character?
It's a lot of fun.  My character is young and naive, but he often asks key questions that lead to important
Christian doctrine and creation evidence.

Is there a time when you got to use the creation message to share the gospel with
someone?
Yes there is.  I  was talking with my friend and he brought up how we got here and our origin.  I had an
opportunity then, to tell him what I believe about creation, which eventually led to a discussion of the
Gospel.

What is your favorite scripture, and why?
Romans 8:38-39  "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor
powers, nor things present, nor things to come,  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be
able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." I like this verse because it
just shows how God is always with us.  And since He is always with us, we don't have to worry about
anything else.  Even if everything in life goes wrong, we still can fall back on God.

What has the Lord been teaching you during this project?
That he can use anyone he wants to do His work.  When I started with Jonathan Park, I think I was 7
years old.  My family and I had no Idea what this project was; we just showed up for an audition.  And
through that, I was able to provide the voice of Timmy in this show.

Tell us about your family.
It's kind of funny actually.  When I started with Jonathan Park, I was cast as Timmy, my brother Trevor
was cast as Timmy's brother, Thad, and my
dad was cast as Timmy and Thad's dad, John.  My mom
has also been very involved in Jonathan Park as well.  She has played many different parts, most
recently Shannon, the leader of the Explorer's Society.  It has been fun having this be a sort of family
affair.

Do you like working with the other actors on the team?
Definitely.  Everyone in the cast are really nice, cool people.  It's always fun to listen to Cris or Frank
going off in between takes.  We have a really light atmosphere that always makes recording sessions
fun.
